Review : Nokia Lumia 630 - Windows 8.1 OS + 512MB RAM

Nokia Lumia 630 is the first Windows-based smartphone from Lumia series that support Dual-Sim card and runs on Windows 8.1 OS. The design of this smartphone looks like Nokia Asha and Nokia X but it has more bright colors (black, white, orange, green and yellow). In the top, users can find audio port meanwhile, micro USB port is placed in the bottom,


The Nokia Lumia 630 comes with 4.5 inch screen size and equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect the screen. It has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels with 16M colors on the screen.

This smartphone is packed with a lot of great features like Office, Music and Video, Nokia Drive Beta, Maps, App Highlights and Much more. There are also Windows Phone Store where thousands of free apps and games ready to be downloaded by users. In this smartphone, you can install and transfer apps to external memory and you can also save photos or download files directly to external memory so you can save more space in internal memory.

The Nokia 639 is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor with 512 MB of RAM. Meanwhile, for storage, this smartphone has 8GB of internal memory (4GB for user) and support up to 64GB external memory. To save more space on internal storage, this phone also features "Storage Sense" where you can moving apps to SDcard. All files including podcast or music can also be transfered to MicroSD. With this basic feature, Nokia Lumia ready to runs a variety of apps.


Just like other Nokia Lumia series, this smartphone also comes with music player that can create or edit its own playlist. The musics can be listed based on Artist, genre, songs, etc. If you want to listen radio, you need to put your headset first (unfortunately, headsed and USB cable data is not included in package). But, you can listen free streaming musics by using Nokia's App, MixRadio. For video player, this smartphone support codec XviD, DivX, MOV and MP4 with a resolution of 1080p.

Nokia Lumia also equipped with a very good camera, 5 MP of main camera without front camera. You can also find Nokia Lenses, Momento and Bing Vision Lenses. Other features of Nokia Lumia 630 includes Ms Office Mobile and One Note and sync to Windows Live or OneDrive.

Overall, the Nokia 630 is a pretty good phone with many excellent features.
