Review : Samsung Galaxy S5, KitKat with 2GB RAM, 16MP Camera

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has been announced officially at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 in Barcelona a few month ago. This high-end smartphone brings more excellent quality than its predecessor, Galaxy S4 and it's a direct competitor to Apple's popular device, iPhone 5S.


The Galaxy S5 is almost similar to Galaxy S4 in terms on design but the Galaxy S5 is slightly taller (6.6mm), wider (3mm) and and 15g heavier.
This smartphone comes with 5.1 inch FHD Super AMOLED with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and featuring automatic brighteness and adjustments. 

The Samsung Galaxy S5 runs the latest Android operating system, v4.4 KitKat and equipped with Samsung's TouchWiz software too. Samsung also includes finger scanner like "KnockCode" feature in LG G Pro2 to give more protection (Advance) to the device. You can read its manual before you activte it. This feature includes PIN as a alternative if the device does not recognize your finger

This smartphone is powered by 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 with 2 GB of RAM and equipped with 16GB internal storage with MicroSD up to 128GB and combined with removable battery with a capacity of 2.800 mAh; With this basic hardware, the phone is ready to be used for a variety of multimedia activities, access the internet and watch online streaming videos, play HD games, and of course you can install a variety of applications which is available for free in Google Playstore.


Samsung Galaxy S5 brings complete connectivity features including infra red where you can control various Samsung's electronic devices in your home via Remote Contol app. MicroUSB port which is placed in the bottom of device can be used for charging or data transfer to Laptop / computer, Wi-Fi and USB on the Go, GPS and Download Booster for stable download and that can make the phone connect to LTE and WiFi at the same time also can be found in this phone.

If you love photography, this phone can also support your activities because it comes with a powerful 16MP camera and offers 4K video recording capability and 2MP front-facing camera. The camera also comes with a variety of features like (face detection, camera's flash, etc) that will make your photos look more elegant and brighter.
