Review : Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo, Jelly Bean, 1GB RAM

The Samsung Galaxy Grand NEO aka GT-I9060 is the successor of Galaxy Grand 2 that has officially released on January 2014. This smartphone has large screen size just like its predecessors, and available in 2 different varians, Single and Dual SIM. Basically, the Grand NEO dimension almost similar to the first generation of Galaxy Grand.

The Galaxy Grand Neo comes with 5.01" capacitive TFT LCD multi touchscreen size and will give you a satisfaction when using it for multimedia purposes,
explore the websites, play the games and open multiple apps simultaneously.  

This smartphone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Samsung didn't give information whether this phone can be upgraded to KitKat OS. However, you can easily customize its user interface using Samsung TouchWiz UI or using launchers that can be downloaded for free from PlayStore. The Grand Neo user also can enjoy Widget feature in lockscreen. The right panel of lockscreen widget can be used for camera icon or display some shortcuts for favorite apps. When you hold home screen button, you can easily access task manager and you can turn off apps or games running in the background.

The phone has been equipped with several great features like Dropbox for online storage where you can save your files up to 50GB for 2 years. Multi Window feature that allow you to open multiple tasks in one screen also can be found in this phone. 

The Galaxy Grand Neo is powered by 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 Quad-Core processor, meanwhile for internal storage, it support up to 8/16GB and expandable up to 64GB. Its 2100 mAh Lithium-Ion Battery will make this smartphone powered up so you can use it for many things anytime or while in the go.

All connectivity features like Wi-Fi for Internet access, Bluetooth for transfer data, cable data, MicroUSB, GPS, etc have been included in this phone. Then you can find Samsung Link feature where you can easily sync your multimedia content to cloud storage like Box.Net, Dropbox or Skydrive and it also can make your phone connect to the Samsung SmartTV device.

Galaxy Grand Neo is quipped with dual Camera, 5MP LED Flash rear camera and VGA front facing camera and can record video with a dimension of 720p. The camera has 7 different mode like best photo, continuous shot, sound & shot, panorama, sport dan night.

Overall, this is very good mid-range Android-based smartphone especially for those of you who like to watch online streaming video or play the games in the phone.
